Travel health and immunization services

Limited travel advice can be provided through Ridgeview Medical Centre - please advise the staff when booking your appointment if you wish to discuss travel related vaccinations or prescriptions.

PLEASE NOTE: Alberta Health Care Insurance Plan does NOT cover travel related consults, appointments or injections. Payment for these services must be made at the time of your appointment.

Whether you are traveling for leisure, business or the adventure of a lifetime, your health is as important as your tickets and accommodation!

Sick during or after travel?

The physicians at Ridgeview Medical are equipped to treat travellers returning to Canada. Be prepared to tell your doctor which countries you have visited and provide details about any medical attention you received while abroad.

For useful information on vaccines, travel health notices, and country specific advisories, visit the Public Health Agency of Canada's Travel Health site.
