Ridgeview Medical Centre is a busy family medicine clinic based in the spectacular mountain community of Canmore, Alberta. Our multi-disciplinary team includes 7 x Family Physicians and 2 x Licensed Practical Nurses. In addition to our Family Practice, we also offer Saturday walk-in clinic hours; and each of our physicians are members of the Bow Valley PCN.
Ridgeview Medical Centre is looking for multiple physicians to join our team. The schedule is negotiable; however the expectation would be an ongoing schedule of 3-4 shifts per week, including 1 x evening shift per week (offering same-day / walk-in clinic services) and rotating weekend walk-in / hospitalist coverage. Clinical privileges with Canmore General Hospital are a requirement of the position.

Dr. Barrick obtained her medical degree from the University of Ottawa in 2014. Originally from Kitchener, Ontario, she moved to Calgary to start her Family Medicine residency at the University of Calgary, and instantly fell in love with the mountains and the people.
Dr. Barrick also works as a clinical lecturer at the University of Calgary, teaching current family medicine residents. When not practicing medicine, you can find Dr. Barrick in the mountains running, hiking and ice-climbing!

Dr. Badger completed her medical degree at the University of Calgary. She then finished her Family Medicine residency through the University of Alberta program in Red Deer and rural communities in Central Alberta. In her spare time, Dr. Badger loves to trail run, bike, and ski. She is thrilled to join the Ridgeview team on a permanent basis!
Dr. Hone commenced with Ridgeview Medical Centre on November 1, 2018. Dr. Hone graduated from the Family Medicine Residency program at University of Calgary in 2016 and provided locum services in the Bow Valley, Northern Alberta and the Yukon prior to joining the Ridgeview team as one of our owner-physicians.
Special Interests: Women's Health; IUD Insertion; Endometrial Biopsy.
Dr. McPherson completed her medical degree at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver and her Family Medicine Residency on Vancouver Island, in Nanaimo BC. She worked providing locum coverage in several rural communities in BC before moving to Canmore.
She is a busy and proud mom of two beautiful boys. Dr. McPherson loves the outdoors, climbing, running and skiing in particular and hopes to help her patients achieve optimal health to pursue their passions.
Dr. Morin graduated from the University of Calgary, with a good portion of her training in Canmore itself. She then completed residency at the University of Calgary, and was very excited to come back to Canmore to practice family medicine.
Dr. Morin is originally from coastal BC, and loves hiking, biking, skiing and climbing in the mountains.
NOTE: Effective February 27, 2023, Dr. Paul will be retiring from her full-time family practice. Dr. Badger will be taking over care of Dr. Paul's patients from this date. Dr. Paul will still be providing periodic locum coverage for the physicians at Ridgeview.
Dr. Paul graduated from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland, and did her post graduate Family Medicine training in Queensland, Australia, then becoming a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
Dr. Paul and her family relocated from Australia after falling in love with Canmore following several vacations to the area. The Paul family love outdoor activities particularly mountain biking, skiing & hiking. Dr. Paul particularly wants to help her patients maintain their health so they too can enjoy all that this wonderful part of the world has to offer.
